Hi Shiba-san, thank you so for the video this is very helpfull! I have a question: so for Keihan Limited Express, we can pay the train with ICOCA card (i.e., just simply tap in & tap out until we reach Kyoto)? Means, we don’t have to buy the ticket separately at the station or book the ticket beforehand? Hope this comment reaches you. Thanks again!☺️
@Shiba-Shiba_TrainsInJapan8 ай бұрын
Hi! Thank you for the comment. You can use ICOCA when you take the Keihan line. You don't have to purchase paper ticket and need not make a reservation in advacne. You can tap and go through the ticket gate with your ICOCA. But if you would like to take the "PREMIUM CAR," it is necesary purchasse a additional ticket at the counter ( 3:50 ). If you have any other questions, feel free to comment again.😊

Thanks for your comment. For this video I used a postpaid card called PiTaPa. This card is convenient as it does not need to be recharged, but it takes time to be issued as it needs to be linked to a bank account. That is why I recommend the ICOCA card, which can be bought immediately from a ticket machine. It can also be used via a smartphone app, although it needs to be charged in advance.😊
