I never thought this would've ever went with Xevious the way it started out, but then you gotta remember, Namco goes hard with their soundtracks

All of the sample sounds...including the faux percussion/drums...are taken from the original game sounds/music themselves (or at least sound like it). First, the "hitting the Baculas" sample (tonk-tonk-tonk); then, "hitting the Toroids" (kleep--kleep'kleep); and the Solvalou explosion music as the "backbeat" (boom'boom-boom).

Namco really outdid themselves with this one. Growing up with a lot of Namco games for PS1 like Namco Museum 1 and Tekken, they sure do know how to do things right.

Namco's soundtrack input during the 1996-2010 period was always kick ass. their soundtrack could make any of the namco collections, ridge racers or tekken games they put on the Ps1 have absolutely hype dance music.

Nikolenuurd I got a DL idea, Sakurai needs to add Ms. PAC-Man in as an echo fighter and Nintendo needs to remix all the Namco Museums game room music, either that or make 5 namco museum medleys each having remixed versions of all the Game rooms from their respected games in the series. And the stage needs to be the original Namco Museum lobby from the 1st game, just imagine the save robot behind the desk checking through the randomly generated scores for all the games that appear in the Namco Museum series! And the signs for the games above the entrance doors from all the games get randomized every time you choose that stage!

I found it funny how I had the 1st and 3rd volume growing up and missed out on the 2nd volume. Shame cause they also had great games and music

@@Cookie0927 exactly, mostly american mainstream games. all of the games in volume 2 were huge hits in Japan, and less so in North America. Dragon Buster wasn't even released in North America but in Japan and Europe only.

this sounds like a underground downtempo cece peniston song. if you listen to Crystal waters you turn me on vocal mix . the beat and harmony sounds very similar . also reminds me of the remix producer David morales

MizHydee251 Regardless of the fact that this is really old comment... I highly recommend these volumes. Kinda hard to find nowadays unless you go digging...but they're worth it!
