I thought it'd be something easy like I can't give you anything but love, lol. I don't think I've ever heard this song. What decade is this song from?

Hi, there are a lot of cover versions of this song! I believe it was a broadway show tune type of song written in 1928 but jazz artists like John Coltrane played it.. I think that's how I learned it a bit was through Coltranes recording - kzbin.info/www/bejne/m2aad5KIopirf5Ysi=paHtrnwv4kp_yg9p . What do you play? and how long you been playing and what standards do you like to play? Thanks for your comment.

@robbie_g_trumpet Man I wish I were able to play an instrument! I'm simply a jazz enthusiast. I listen to a lot of songs from the 20's thru 40's. 50's as well, but not so much. I have many favorite songs, but a couple of my favorite standards are "the nearness of you", "star dust", "after you've gone", and "laughing at life" to name a few.

@@eustace8520I would look up the local jazz scene in your area.. even if it’s one little bar one hour away where musicians play jazz standards… you’ll find out some more info like what’s a really cookin

I look cold! lol - on edit; the sustain pedal wasn't working so I had to play the last chord again and hold it down manually.
