Hi, the title of the video has been changed from "Xeroc" to "Nameless Deity". Nameless Deity is based on OLD Xeroc lore, and the lore has changed since then. I was under the assumption that Nameless Deity is based on up to-date Xeroc lore. And I was wrong about it. I was informed about this today. That's the reason behind changing the title. (Thumbnail will be changed within a few days, currently dealing with exams) Apologies to all the writers/creators involved for my mistake.

I love the fact that if the hp go to 0, it finishes its attack like the health bar doesn’t affect him, it’s just showing how much you have to do to pass the test

I love how his design is pure chaos, but within said chaos, laid a pattern, he is surrounded by religious symbols and other things, his attacks are.. chaotic and hard to predict, truly a calamity.

Well sadly we might not get anything major. They planned a rework for a lot of bosses and based on some designs were even going to completely overhaul a bunch of them but when the devs quit they no longer had the right to use these designs so a lot of the bosses aren't getting reworks (They even updated the statues to include "What could've been" or something like that). Yharim, Noxus, Xeroc, and any major boss will likely be made to be a lot better but I'm expecting none major bosses to likely stay the same with maybe texture updates.

@@bird9188 I wouldn't blame the devs especially when a lot of the stuff they made was when the tools were limited and so quantity over quality was really the best option don't forget they were doing a massive overhaul of the quality of both weapons and bosses before most of the dev team quit due to Fabsol.

​ @bird9188 infernum bosses are made to be difficult, well made, be unique and fun. it also has the luxury to only do bosses but on the other hand calamity does not have the luxury to focus only on the bosses as there is an entire list of armor, weapons, accesories and whole other stuff to balance and update to be on a higher quality than what is their curent state also we are going to get boss reworks eventualy it is going to be a slow process unfortunatley

@@bird9188 Some Internum bosses are kinda repetitive and predictable imo feels like copies of Empress of Light. I prefer regular DoG over infernum DoG because in original it feels like fighting a giant space worm god but in infernum it feels like a playing a dash game with him. Impressive work from both development teams tho specially considering how they do these for free

havent played calamity in ages but my god i can appreciate the work thats gone into this fight from the artists working on the mod. this is truly incomprehensible but you can see how they made it look that way if you pay attention. the wings and arms constantly changing, a black void where you THINK a face should be? i adore this.

@@surperdurperimo that's actually one of my favorite part of the design, the square moves in a very clunky way almost as if it was a censor (which I'm assuming is what the creator intended) making it look like the boss's face isn't meant to be seen by us humans which adds an extra layer of almost divinity to the boss. But I perfectly understand how some people don't really like that part of the design and I do respect that too :D

I think the diety harnesses way more then light itself, it literally has the power to interact with the game itself plus It creates stuff like black hole that has no light. I think the nameless deity is just a omnipotent god of everything even though it has the signal of primordial light behind it.

Another Id like to add about how good this boss fight is. Is that it runs so well I fought during my infernum playthrough and there were man bosses after hardmode that came with huge lag spikes and chugged my PC. but this insaly flashy and awesome bo9ss fight ran like butter on my potatoes!

Calamity. The best, or at least one of the best content mods ever created for Terraria. It's ideal on it's own. Add Infernum to it and you will get peak of the mountain of modding. Noxus alone was fine addition to this, like an cherry on top of the cake. And now this. This is accented Calamity to beyond existence level of modding. That's crazy. Dom is insane. I'd say that this isn't even took THAT long to create, just imagine how much he'd worked for a day to make this that fast. At least that how it feels. Imagine what would happen if he dedicaited a year to one mod. He would probably create an entire new game inside Terraria. Calamity in its state is really unstoppable. With addons like this, community support, and other there is NO competitors. Even though my favourite mod is Mod of Redemption I understand that there is no and there will be nothing to rise above Calamity mod and it's addons. Whatever people say - this mod will kill Calamity, that mod will be as popular as Calamity, this mod- no. Just no. Let's be real. Calamity have a good base. And a perfect replayability with all addons of all kinds. Also, certified abOoOd moment. Your editing skill improved sooo much.
