Love this! One question, does this plater profile have the dispellable buffs on the right side of the bar? For example the spike buff in Uldaman shows on my current profile to help me see what i need to dispell

I currently have it set to show those above the nameplate alongside DoTs but highlighted. I do that so I can put the raid marker on that right side but you could definitely change this.

Helpful. Nameplates overwhelm me in m+. There is so much information being jammed down my throat I can never actually focus on any of it.

Yeah its always tough, i start with everything turned on and record my VODs. Then afterwards I just go one by one and turn off stuff that I dont need as i re--watch it later.

Hi Publik, thanks for the awesome Plater profile, I've been using it for a few days now and love. Only 1 thing kind of bothers me is when the nameplates starts flashing green and is kinda confusing me. Where is that settings and Can I turn that off? Regards :)

The flash should only happen when Vampiric Touch has less than 6s or left by default. You can change or adjust that in the settings. Plater -> Scripting -> Find Vampiric Touch Tracker in the list -> Flash when time remaining -> set to whatever you would like (1 should basically be off)

Whats rhe addon/weakaura that shows the coolddown timers for the important mob abilities on the left that popped up in combat?

@@Publikwow thanks for the quick reply! Sorry, I meant, in combat you have these horizontal line timers for im guessing different mob abilities in a group on the middle left of your screen, (red timer lines), you can see them at 2:52. I havent been able to find anything like this

Hi Pubik! How are you able to stack the names and force them to go in the middle of the screen? Mine has stacking nameplates on but it still stacks on the very top of my screen. We have the same sizes on fonts and most settings but for certain pulls, it still massively stacks on the very top of my screen instead of it adjusting to the middle then stacking there.

I would like the answer to this as well, It gets so bad they go off screen and I have to shove my camera into the floor to see nameplates, or be on the mobs asses and camera down to see them

Couple things to check: - Plater --> General Settings --> Stacking Nameplates is checked (should be the same as Interface settings in game -> Nameplate Motion Type -> Stacking Nameplates - Plater --> General Settings --> Nameplate Overlap set to 1.00 or lower (depends on screen size and a few other things, would experiment with this) - Plater --> Enemy NPC --> Health Bar Size in/out of Combat --> Adjust height as needed - Plater -> Enemy NPC -> Aura Frame Y Offset set to 0.00 or lower

Seems like i am having some issue with the Script. I am using Quazis Plater profile - Does that somehow overlap with the script? The color does not change to green when i have vampiric touch on :)

Yeah there can be conflict with certain profiles. I’m not sure what that profile is specifically. You might have to disable other color changing mods

Any way to have the opposite script where mobs that DONT have VT get a specific color ? I dont want my custom colors (that help with clarity) to be overriden if my dots are up. Edit : If anyone is looking for the solution : There is a premade script in the "Modding" tab in plater called "Don't have Aura [Plater]". Go in Constructor hooks and follow the instructions in gray

You can probably reverse the script but would require editing the LUA. Could ask the plater discord for help, moving this week so cant take a look atm

one script I would love for someone to figure out is making the name plates smaller / larger depending on if vamp touch is on them.. so basically small name plates if my dots are applied and very large if not so we can target them easier.. is that possible?

So far not a whole lot to talk about, but probably in a few weeks. Every week there are new changes so trying to be careful about putting outdated info out in videos. For example last week they made a lot of substantial changes but then reverted most of them this week

Another option for undotted adds: Ghost auras in Plater. It will show a desaturated version of whatever debuffs are missing. Does anyone know which script/mod/etc shows the Seed cooldown at 3:05?
