Who is Allah? During the time of the Prophet saw, a woman in Medina lost her child. With no modern resources to help with finding a missing person, the mother was distressed and searched for her child for days and weeks. Imagine a mother losing her child for even ten minutes, and the stress she goes through. One day, the woman found her child, and started crying and running towards him, embracing him. The prophet saw turned to his companions, who were crying and overcome with emotion watching the mother and son reunite. The prophet saw asked his companions, “Can you imagine this lady burning her child in a fire?” The companions replied, “impossible Ya RasoolAllah!” The prophet said, “Allah is more merciful to you, than this mother to her child.” This is how the prophet saw would introduce and emphasize Allah swt to his companions.

I never hear the narration like this, this is the one i heard: Umar ibn al-Khattab reported: Some prisoners of war were brought to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and a nursing woman was among them. Whenever she found a child among the prisoners, she would take it to her chest and nurse it. The Prophet said to us, “Do you think this woman would throw her child into the fire?” We said, “No, not if she was able to stop it.” The Prophet said, “Allah is more merciful to His servants than this mother is to her child.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5999, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2754

I couldn’t find the exact dua he said but I am pretty sure this is it: اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّي عَبْـدُكَ ابْنُ عَبْـدِكَ ابْنُ أَمَتِـكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَـدِكَ مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤكَ أَسْأَلُـكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّـيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أِوْ أَنْزَلْتَـهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ أَوْ عَلَّمْـتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِـكَ أَوِ اسْتَـأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الغَيْـبِ عِنْـدَكَ أَنْ تَجْـعَلَ القُرْآنَ رَبِيـعَ قَلْبِـي وَنورَ صَـدْرِي وجَلَاءَ حُـزْنِي وذَهَابَ هَمِّـي Transliteration: Allāhumma innī `abduk, ibnu `abdik, ibnu amatik, nāsiyatī biyadik, māḍin fiyya ḥukmuk, `adlun fiyya qaḍā'uk, as'aluka bikullis’min huwa lak, sammayta bihi nafsak, aw anzaltahu fī kitābik, aw `allamtahu aḥadan min khalqik, aw‘ista'tharta bihi fī `ilmil-ghaybi `indak, an taj`ala ‘l-Qur'āna rabī`a qalbī, wa nūra ṣadrī, wa jalā'a ḥuznī, wa dhahāba hammī. Translation: O Allah, I am Your slave, and the son of Your male slave, and the son of your female slave. My forehead is in Your Hand (i.e. you have control over me). Your Judgment upon me is assured, and Your Decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught any one of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress.

Allāhumma aslamtu nafsī ilayk, wa fawwaḍtu amrī ilayk, wa wajjahtu wajhī ilayk, wa alja’tu ẓahrī ilayk, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilayk, lā malja’a wa lā manjā minka illā ilayk, āmantu bi kitābika-l-ladhī anzalt, wa bi Nabiyyika-lladhī arsalt. O Allah, I submit my soul unto You, and I entrust my affair unto You, and I turn my face towards You, and I totally rely on You, in hope and fear of You. Verily there is no refuge or safe haven from You except with You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Before you go to bed, perform wudhū as you would for prayer, then lie down on your right side and say [the above]. Whoever says this and dies in his sleep, will die upon the ‘fitrah’ (natural monotheism).” (Bukhārī 6313) In another narration the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Let the aforesaid words be your last utterance (before sleep).” (Bukhārī 247)

I don't understand something..if 99names of Allah that we are taught are not from authentic narrations then why do all speakers have series regarding this such as Ali Hammuda, Majed Mahmoud and others with their 99names of Allah series? Also the Prophet salalahu alaihi wasalim has not left anything for us to "figure out" our deen is complete.. A good explanation this lecture but I'm not sure on this..

You mislead people to say Allah's names. The word is a contraction of AL and iLah thus Allah meaning the God. Its not a name but a title for the deity. When you call attributes as names its misleading. Where does Allah say he has 99 names in QUran? If not in Quran why do you teach people what does not originate from Quran? So even Mohmaed has 99 names .. In Tanakh deity is refered to as Elohim and Adnai as the Lord also semitic people use similar words like eloah,Aloho,El and Elah but they refer to deity not the name. Now in Tanakh Elohim said he is the God of your fathers Abraham , Isaac and Jacob and my name is YAHWEH for ever for all generations. If Mohamed taught the same GOdD/Deity ,why doesn't he give that name as well or an Arabic version close to that as the issa for yeshua If MOhamed teaches the same Deity as Tanakh and Gospel then we would have these attributes which are missing in the so called 99 names of Allah ie he is a healer.redeemer,savior,Righteousness,Shepherd and Father .Quran and Islam lacks these but they are there in Tanakh and Gospels.Which means your Allah is not YAHWEH of Abraham,Isaac and JAcob who revealed himself to Moses.

" 3And I asked the angel who (was) with me and said, "Who is the one who prevented me, and who is this one (who turned to me that I might go up)?'" 4And he said to me, "The one who prevented you, this is the one [who (is) in charge of] the praise of the sixth heaven. 5And the one (who turned to you}, this is your Lord, the Lord, the Lord Christ, who is to be called in the world Jesus, but you cannot hear his name until you have come up from this body. 6And he took me up into the seventh heaven, and there I saw a wonderful light, and also angels without number. 7And there I saw all the righteous from the time of Adam onwards. 8And there I saw the holy Abel and all the righteous. 7And there I saw Enoch and all who (were) with him, stripped of (their) robes of the flesh; and I saw them in their robes of above, and they were like the angels who stand there in great glory. 10But they were not sitting on their thrones, nor were their crowns of glory on them. 11And I asked the angel who (was) with me, "How is it that they have received these robes, but are not on (their) thrones nor in (their) crowns?" 12And he said to me, "They do not receive the crowns and thrones of glory-nevertheless, they do see and know whose (will be) the thrones and whose the crowns-until the Beloved descends in the form in which you will see him descend. 13The Lord will indeed descend into the world in the last days, (he) who is to be called Christ after he has descended and become like you in form, and they will think that he is flesh and a man. 14And the god of that world will stretch out [his hand against the Son], and they will lay their hands upon him and hang him upon a tree, not knowing who he is. 15And thus his descent, as you will see, will be concealed even from the heavens so that it will not be known who he is. 16And when he has plundered the angel of death, he will rise on the third day and will remain in that world for five hundred and forty-five days. 17And then many of the righteous will ascend with him, whose spirits do not receive (their) robes until the Lord Christ ascends and they ascend with him. 18Then indeed they will receive their robes and their thrones and their crowns, when he has ascended into the seventh heaven."
