Please look up for keywords like 'Sam Ke Ting', 'year 2017', 'modified bicycle', 'court case'. Maybe you would have a better idea on this really havoc surprising news on the matter of Sam Ke Ting (the car driver who drove at law speeds and do anything obeying the law in Malaysia) and versus the kids with illegally modified bicycles on highway at 3.20 a.m. Malaysia time and without their parents controlling their kids' misbehaviours of wrecking Malaysia road rules and laws. Well thanks for the support

To summarize, this was about a road accident case, which kills 8 teenagers and injured 8 others, that took place 5 years ago in Malaysia highway. Many people feels unjust for the female driver, who was only 23 years old then, who was only driving at less than 50km/hour at the time of accident, at about 3.30am. But accidentally rammed into 30 teenagers who was illegally racing in the middle of the road, using modified bicycles that has no lights and braking system. She was recently sentenced to 6 years in jail with fines.
This is Malaysia 😌 why !! We need tolerance between court and victim....

Eight kids died! Must have justice for it! Irresponsible parents of the kids should be charged for serious negligence! When kids still alive they don't care, now the kids died they cry. The life of the kids destroyed by own irresponsible parents, please don't destroy the life of other people who is innocent.
It's very weird case,if it happen in Indonesia the kid will put on jail and no blame for the driver,think about traumatic effect that the driver experienced,rest in peace for the kid but actually they all deserve it

The weird part, is that ppl didn't bother much of thought. Few ppl feels that she needed more punishment, and can't get away from it. But turn a blind eye for the reason it happened. Namewee's right, if it doesn't happen to them, they won't care .

This is a mess for her part, she need a good lawyer. Hopefully she got her own justice.
@ssjong732 жыл бұрын
yes, her statement about another car involved is weird and alarming, but the part that I am wondering is how judge accepted the prosecutor reasoning, had the prosecutor ever proved beyond any reasonable doubt that she was driving recklessly? The burden of proof is on the prosecutor and the benefits of doubt is with the defendant, prosecutor must prove that the defendant is in the wrong without doubt, it seems all the evidence suggest that she was driving normally... if a judge is more willing to accept the reasoning of prosecutor and demand more proof from the defendant, then it tilt the balance of the judgement, that is why she was found innocent twice before and then found guilty later by another judge.... Innocent until proven guilty.....where is the proof that she was driving recklessly...
Beside this ladies driver & kids parents .......Did all Malaysian Driver on road paying road tax? Why the local management authority & traffic police can"t ansure road safety ? The local management authority should stop illegal or unsafe bicycle on road . When case happen the local management authority & traffic police should be responsibility too!
misuse and misconduct on the road are the so-called victims' own fault, unfortunately dragging down other legal motorists.

Once upon a time a group of children took a shortcut by using a railway tunnel to get to their destination. It was safe because they memorized the train schedule. Unfortunately they did not realize that this day was a public holiday and the train timetable was different. While I started off with "Once upon a time", this is not a fairy tale or fable but a true story. Can anyone find out if the train driver was jailed for killing those children? If Sam Ke Ting gets jailed for what is obviously a misadventure, it will set a dangerous precedent. What if ......... what if this happened to the Johor Sultan during one of his train forays. Then he will face immediate jail time. I sometimes need to walk to go places and they way they build these elevated highways, you might be surprised what is forbidden. Obviously bullock carts and trishaws but you will be surprised what else gets forbidden. In one case, I cannot remember where, motorcycles are forbidden. In Sam Ke Ting's case, was that road one of these which have a signboard as you enter the highway that forbids bicycles? If it does then the boys are in the wrong. Please send my observations to her lawyer. I hope this helps.

Maybe the law for train and road vehicles are different. In Malaysia Law, there’s one act about careless driving which resulted in death. Not sure about train though.

@@hanatoh2119 I don't know either which is why I asked. If the government REALLY, REALLY wants to rid this menace { and enforce compliance during the MCO }, they should switch off the lights along major roads after 10PM. People drive much more carefully if they can't see ahead and the new cars { even luxury ones } have those cataracts covering the headlights ......... . If they REALLYx3 want to end Mat Rempit and these, they should outsource this to the Singapore Highway Patrol because ours tak efisien dan efektiv.
