If there was a holistic managment of the land with grassing plans than you would not have to do this . Over time you will see if this charcoal shortterm solution will solve the problems that come afterwards.

Not true, its brush, its done conscientiously, so its renewable and has a lesser impact on the environment. The Land is being managed like fields, but instead of produce its trees/brush for charcoal.

How can I buy your charcoal and export it to Europe?
@TheCrepusculum Жыл бұрын
why do you even want that? we produce charcoal as a by-product and as deadwood utilization. I won't buy anything imported if I have something in my own country.

This is the answer to get rid of encrouching |Bushes and it adds a lot more value then selling normal fire wood due to the price to weight ratio between Charcoal and wood and most of all it generates a lot of work i`m considering it myself to get rid of invasive bushes and thereby increasing my grass lands , the bushes will anyway start growing after some years ,

Please have a look at the playlist on Biomass in Namibia to get the full scope. This forms part of the series on biomass in Namibia. We have a bush encroachment problem in Namibia. Namibia is a Savannah grassland.

No its called DE-BUSHING not de- dorestation

No. Not a single indigiouness tree is planted to replace the ones chopped down.

This is deforestation. Soon Namibia will be a whole desert.

Please have a look at the whole series to understand that the bushes that are being removed are encroaching bush species.
@summertime241333 жыл бұрын
This is a completely ignorant reply, the encroaching bushes are an environmental hazard, less bushes here restores equilibrium

Your not up to date with whats going on. The Chinese are busy with that in the Kaprivi where they chop trees not BUSHES. 🤪

Yes. And go and read up on the dangers of breathing in woodsmoke. These charcoal makers do not care how their Operations affect the health of other people through smoke exposure and Inhalation.
