This is a writing sample video showing three Namiki Pilot Emperor/50 size pens, how they write, and how they differ from using smaller nibs. This video is to accompany the Namiki Emperor Review videos on this channel, so I don't repeat exactly the same writing content over and over again.
Namiki Emperors use number 50 size Namiki 18k gold nibs, the Emperors and Emperor-size Chinkin pens have a two tone with the Mount Fuji highlighted in a silver/metallic plating, the Urushi number 50 pens in Black and Vermillion have a single tone nib without the plating.
Namiki Emperors are ebonite and urushi eyedropper pens with a valve that controls whether the ink can get from the barrell into the section and feed, this needs to be unscrewed a few turns for prolonged writing, although for short writing duration the huge urushi-coated plastic feed holds quite a lot of ink and can write for a while before it dries out.
