Japan's Perfect Pens
This channel looks at Japan's Perfect Pens - fountain pen masterworks of maki-e, chinkin and urushi.
Hello, my name is Richard and I've been lucky enough to get access to some really amazing pens and just want to do my bit to share some of these things that are rarely seen. By the time I've finished making the videos there should be nearly 30 reviews of Namiki Emperors and 15 reviews of Namiki Yukari Royale pens, one Nakaya, and around 30 Yukari. Because there are so many reviews of pens which are made in the same way, I don't spend too much time on revisiting exactly how they are made each time, and prefer to look at the individual designs and what makes a particular pen different from the others.
