It's vintage. The usual breakdown is anything over 100 years is an antique and anything under 100 years is vintage. It's a gorgeous find. Love that color.

Kudos on the new pen! It's a beauty. I personally, never had a pen call to me like you have described. It does seem special to you at a spiritual level. Happy penning?😊

It's great color and I think the facets add something to pen. I think facets add that nice reflection to a pen that changes the look. If find it adds depth; personality. It's nice when a a pen call out to you, and not the other way around. You feel better about buying it.

In my research I had found out the numbers on the nibs tell you everything. So the letters that start the code, refer to the plant it was made in and the next numbers are the month and year.

Ok, Denise, this is the last call - did you see you won the giveaway? And yes, that's so fascinating about the Pilot nibs.

I love the hunter green color of the pen. I haven’t seen many pens that color. I did buy the laurel green platinum 3776, and I love that pen and color. I hope you continue to explore and enjoy the new pen.

I saw this pen mentioned before in another video, but I can‘t recall which… 🤔 What I find interesting is that the Majohn A2 Press seems to be a dupe of this pen while the A1 Press is obviously a dupe of the regular Pilot VP. I had a similar experience when I found my Pelikan M140 pre-loved at a very good price and in new condition because it had never been used. Absolutely love having such a treasure in my collection. 😊
@seemownay Жыл бұрын
I agree, I had the same thoughts. I wonder if the A2 is slimmer as well?!
@Heidejournal Жыл бұрын
@@seemownay It‘s slimmer and also lighter… the A2 has a facetted plastic body and the A1 is made of lacquered metal. I wish they would offer the A2 as a clipless version as well, because that is why I got the A1 in the first place. I have recently discovered that when I use my VP‘s with Iroshizuku inks, they don‘t dry up on me so quickly… that hasn’t been a problem with the dupes at all, which I find so weird since they are exact copies. 🤷♀️

I just won an auction on ebay for the exact pen. I cant wait to get it I have been wanting a vanishing point for a while. But I specifically wanted this version of it and they are pretty hard to come by.

I hope you enjoy it greatly! It wasn't the right pen for me unfortunately, even though I really would have loved it. But I passed it along to someone else who was able to appreciate and love it.

:) beide in Fine

@danielribeiro46189 ай бұрын
@@seemownay darf ich fragen was du damals bezahlt hast? Nostalgie hin oder her.
