I can't say how I started watching your vlog, Nami Chan, it may seems crazy but it really changed my life or at least my way to see life. Since I know you, my house is cleaner, there are pretty flowers in every corner and I found again pleasure in cooking (specially vegetables which I hate!). I also started to treat my self better and this is the best part. Because sometimes pandemies, loneliness and depression are the very bad demons and you can't dispel them with beans. It's incredible how a stranger who shares little ordinary moments (of an extraordinary woman!!!) can fix a little bit your mind and your soul. Sincerely thank you from the deepest of my heart! You made a difference! You deserve the best things. I'm sending you a huge covid-free kiss from Sardinia (Italy). 😘

i think, after watching this, that everybody should go through a period of living in a small space where each action you make reflects on your sense of well being and purpose. starting with cleaning your space, creating from base your meals and in the harmonious atmosphere you create, enjoying the fulfilment of your basic needs.... this sweet balance of self-care, lovingness , simplicity and aesthetic function surely must be the bare essence of life. i love this.

Hello Nami! I’m an American student and I just started college three weeks ago. Your videos have been a source of comfort for me, as I’ve had to leave my family’s home and start living independently. You make living alone seem less scary, and I thank you for that. I’ve also been taking Japanese as my required language credit. Maybe one day I will be able to write a comment in Japanese. I will work toward that goal! 😁

The food you make always looks so good! A little suggestion: if you warm your tortillas first, they will be a lot less likely to break or tear when you fold or manipulate them. It doesn't have to be hot, just a little warm is good.

from what I have seen it is harder to get rid of the older things in Japan, you have to get stickers and make precise measurements so it can be taken away and it can take weeks. hope that the people that delivered the new bed took the old one away for Nami.

You made two favorite Romanian dishes today 😊, the stuffed cabbage, and the grilled eggplant. We put unboiled rice in the filling, and twice the amount of water, so it can cook in the filling. Also a lot of dill herb. We also use Kimchi like cabbage for the rolls. You have an amazing rolling technique! The grilled eggplants we do here, get roughly chopped and mixed with olive oil and garlic, and eaten with bread and tomatoes. I'm happy for your new bed, have only nice dreems in it!
@HeavyInYourArms123 жыл бұрын
Here in Greece we also make the stuffed cabbage. But we make a white sauce to top them or just lemon juice. And during fasting for Easter we don't put meat in them only rice.

Same for Poland. Here we call it "gołąbki" (which means... "pigeons", like wtf why? :D). In our country, we also stuff the cabbage with rice or groat (often mixed with meat)

Ah, that makes sense why the Koala was sent with the bed. I made the mistake of planting a eucalyptus tree in my back garden and 69ft later it's a bit if a worry when it's stormy. A few of those gorgeous littles bears would make the risk more worthwhile.

A good mattress is so important! I had really severe back pain 2 years ago and had to take medication to numb the pain for weeks on end. My husband had to tie my shoes at one point and still won't let me carry heavy stuff. We renovated our room a bit and bought a new bed and matress that was advocated to be good for your back in the process. One night. Only ONE night on the new matress and my back was 50% better. A week later my back pain was almost completely gone and never returned as severe (i always had a weak back even as a Teenager so i will always have some problems). I hope one year later also your back feels a lot better and that you are w/o pain. I love your vlogs, they are very calming for me and help me relax into sleep or just when i am stressed and want to calm down.

I love your videos! They are so soothing, and you've made me interested in cooking! I have a helpful tip to get the core out of cabbages, without a knife! If you just bang the bottom of the cabbage on your counter, so you smash in the core, you can just twist and pull it out with your hands. A lot safer. Thank you for being a beautiful soul

I really like your new bed and mattress. I particularly like that the bed frame comes in pieces and not too difficult to assemble and looks very sturdy. The Koala mattress set is ingenious. The zip top that can be flipped over for soft or firm is a great idea. I'm definitely keeping this in mind the next time I need a new mattress. I'm always looking for items that I can handle and assemble by myself. The little Koala bear was adorable and nice to emphasize the company's life saving mission of the koalas. I checked out their website and they have a nice selection of other items that can be easily assembled. Nami, it looks very nice in your redecorated bedroom. Your meals as always was so enjoyable to watch. You always present the food in such a beautiful way. We do stuffed cabbage in America, in a southern state with ground beef. I usually add bell pepper and fresh tomatoes if we have in the garden in the summer time. Glad we can share ideas across the internet. I would love to visit Japan sometime. The lifestyles, good manners and respect the Japanese have really appeal to me. We were raised that way as well, so think I would fit right in. Thank you so much for your lovely and peaceful video's. I enjoy them so much and learn a lot too. Many blessings for you.

The weather is turning into autumn in Canada and I'm gearing up to make a parsnip, carrot, and sweet potato soup. I add a variety of other ingredients such as chicken stock, onions and garlic, and when the soup has simmered, I emulsify it all and serve with some nutmeg and crustini's! It always hits the spot and just makes me feel cozy!
