In reality this is a cooking show masquerading as a vlog. It's also very well done and takes a lot of effort to both shoot the material and then to cut it together. I wouldn't be surprised if the "I am a Japanese office worker who lives alone" is just a ruse. But, the material is enjoyable and tastefully done, so who am I to complain.

My Saturday routine: Woke up at 9am. Saw my phone notifications. Nami uploaded a 30min video!! I took my breakfast while watching "Monday" part. I did some cleaning. After that I took a break make some coffee and watch "Tuesday and Wednesday". I took my laptop and do my tasks and had a late lunch at 2pm. Watching "Thursday and Friday" while eating. Rest of the day was just lazy time haha. My favorite part is Avocado day! I should try making this meal! By the way, I think the cat is really having a good time as well! haha

Margaret McCullough - Right! It looks like Nami eats three balanced meals a day, doesn't do much snacking, and mostly avoids processed food. Those last two are about as un-American as it gets, haha!

I am working on convincing my kids to eat soup our family is starting a new habit. And I am introducing the idea. we watched at cuddle time before bed and it was very relaxing for him to call asleep to. I can't catch everything you say in the notes but it is pleasant. your cooking tools and pans are different for the different ways you eat and cook.

I love your videos so much. They help me feel calm and have me feeling adventurous with my cooking. I have been taking note of the common items you use and made a list and went to my local Asian market and picked them up. My soup broths have improved and my overall cooking in general. Today I made a dish that if I closed my eyes I would feel like my friends mom who is Chinese Jamaican cooked it. Look forward to your content as always. It has been helping me during the quarantine along with everything else that is going on here.

I had homemade salad dressing at my favourite sushi restaurant. They sell mason jars of orange dressing. So I bought one and it said on the bottle last up to three weeks. Well, I used it up before then cause it’s delicious. I started making my own :)

Did you know you can eat the stem of the broccoli raw? Peel the outside and the centre is crunchy and delicious dipped in a little salt. In Israel they can’t believe we eat the top and discard the bottom as they favour the stem. Amazing what you learn years and years after eating a food one way!

My favorite dressing is Minimalist Baker Caesar Dressing 1/4 cup plain hummus (store-bought or DIY) 1 tsp spicy mustard 1/2 tsp lemon zest 2-3 Tbsp lemon juice, to taste 2 tsp capers (finely minced/smashed, plus 3 tsp brining juice as original recipe is written- adjust amount if altering batch size) 4-5 cloves garlic, minced 1 healthy pinch each sea salt + pepper (more to taste) 1-2 Tbsp olive oil (optional // for added creaminess) 1-2 tsp maple syrup (optional) Mix everything in a bowl and get ready to eat😋

I liked this video, i like all your video's actually! I never thought about using soya milk in creamy spaghetti pasta, i'm vegan so that's a cool idea for when i don't have cream.. i love how you manage to use everything up, we are a household of 4 and still i don't manage to use everything, and some things in my fridge go stale and i create more waste..i'll try to be more mindful and create more meals for later.

I grow my own organic veg and save a lot of $. We use garden pots and a few hand built garden boxes on our patio for half our plot and plant potatoes, cabbage, green beans, onions and broccoli in the ground. We don't buy veg for 6 months. It's great. I grow some veg indoors in winter too. Love the dishes you're making. Healthy life...long life.
