its not cause hes tired of translating its cause white american interviewers treat non english speakers as children or if theyre stupid and ask stupid condescending questions every single time especially the collab question. they NEVER got asked about their music in a serious way until 2020 before that the only question that was music related was who do you wanna collab with everything else was "whats your favorite english word" "whos your american celebrity crush" "what american food do you like" i get the 2nd two being asked ONCE when they first come to the u.s but they ask it EVERY time theyre interviewed and the english word was just gross as if english is the superior language. no interviewer in another country would ask whats your favorite korean word, spanish word etc just shows how monolingual people who speak only english think theyre better than people who speak other languages or people who speak multiple languages. interviewers did the same thing to parasite cast and squid game cast when they were being interviewed and they do the same to bad bunny and other non english speaking artists its very odd and RM was done with them after dealing with it for 4 years.

@@tagteamreactions4675 lmao off topic but people also tend to forget RM is an actual genius he have an IQ of 148 and he ranked number1.3% percent of his country in terms of his grade back in high school so you can see him visibly happier/ interested whenever they ask him a deeper question like that time when a interviewer actually ask him the process of writing their songs and you see him actually answering question and happy not when they ask him “who you want to collab with” “which American food you like” and another interviewer ask them “what pokemon they like and if they have a super power for a day what would you do” “what you like about America, do you have a pet?” And they proceed to talk about their pet goldfish and RM would sometimes look so done with the interviews but he try not to show but it’s hilarious especially his “I’m done” expression 😂

I genuinely love you guys however idk how y’all misconstrued the way RM responded to those ENTITLED and weird interviewers as him being “tired of leadership”. ThTs not the case at all. There’s a term I want to introduce here (American Centrism: tendency of assuming that the CULTURE and WAY OF LIFE in the USA is more important than those of other countries or to judge foreign cultures based on American Cultural standards) and this definition can be unpacked so much within the problem here. Some Americans feel as if America is at the top of evrything esp when it comes to the DOMINANCE OF ENGLISH language. There has been so many times American interviewers would judge, or ask weird/inappropriate questions to BTS as if BTS are not a whole group from KOREA who has a whole another way and style of respect and talking especially when it comes to sensible things. For example the Justin Bieber thing, why is it okay to always put American artists as the “NUMBER 1” as if it’s not a possibility Justin Bieber could be the NUMBER 1 FAN of BTS? It’s like he made it seem like Justin Bieber would be doing them the favor of meeting him when in reality no no no BTS are big regardless. He made it seem like they “dream” about Justin Bieber like hellooo? BTS is a whole global top selling group and you think they pressed about some white American artist. Even when the clip of the guy asking them “why not release an English song”…. why does a song have to be in English to be deemed valid at times. Now we know BTS has English songs and they’ve been hits but questions like those come off as very ignorant to a group who doesn’t even specialize in anything English or American related as they forever rep South Korea. I hope you guys understand where some comments are coming from and why RM here wasn’t “rude” but “tired” of the ignorance
