Did anyone else not get 100 extra presets in Equator during the latest update?

AMAZING KEYBOARD! Really worth the price!!

So keyboards are getting what guitar strings are already doing since a long time :)) Great product but wow it has a price.

Is there really any reason to buy the bigger more expensive models now? Seems like a 61 note will come eventually I think...

Why didn't you ask him WHY the the sensors are different?

+wcm5150 It's obvious: $$$

I was wondering if all of these touch expression will work on any VST plugin. I can see the volume, pitch bend, modulation and any CC being controlled but I believe a pitch slide would have to be a dedicated plugin.
@inthefade9 жыл бұрын
+mattsynth Most of the features won't be available on a per-note basis, because most VSTs are derived from the MIDI protocol, which doesn't have pitch bend, envelope, modulation, or aftertouch per-note. Instead those things will effect all notes being played.

So all those sounds he was playing coming with the keyboard?? The orchestra was good
@MnemoLogic9 жыл бұрын
+ingoodmusic Yes, it's all in Equator - the software that comes with the Seaboard.

What's with the USB ports? There's a Type A and a Type B. Usually there's only one Type B, so what's the other port for? Could it be used as a MIDI/USB thru?
@charlesalexanderable8 жыл бұрын
+troublesomecorsair It is for connecting to a tablet or phone; it acts as a host in that config and can also charge the device

I was sold at the vibrato, but this thing has so many cool little tricks that would be amazing to use.

I played with the 25 and wasn't all that impressed - trying to slide from one note to another and the little cushion keys end up getting dragged about. Maybe if I covered it with wd40 it would work a lot better? lol

It would not fly as all other "innovative" new keyboards. People who have ever felt the real thing would never stick their fingers into silicone ;D Normal keyboards with two additional pressure sensitive axis aftertouch would be popular - not such "innovative" pricey things..
@seanemcnamara8 жыл бұрын
I was of a similar mindset until I actually played with it. It is much friendlier than it seems, in my opinion.
@yrussq8 жыл бұрын
Sean McNamara Maybe. Everything could find it's user - question is "would it". As for the conventional classical musicians that dont tend themselves for useless pricey innovations - can't see a single reason they would even try it.

I much prefer the Haken Continuum's engine and use of the neoprene board instead of this weird gearstick material but it was always going to be about who could mass produce and reduce the price first thereby 'capturing the imagination' of people's wallets.
