There's no more "Top 40" radio for bands, so social media is the new way. That's just the way it is. One in a million. A monster guitar player, very confident, who is still grateful, humble, and kind. It's been a pleasure to watch her evolve.

Anyone who knows Ayla from KZbin should watch this. My own introduction was her superb Led Zep cover of 'Since I've Been Loving You' a few years ago, but this is the first interview I've seen. Everything she says here - whether due to having some musical experience, or out of modesty due to still being young - is spot on! Plus, she's impressively open and honest. To the interviewer - I thought your last question was absolutely spot on, regarding the role social media has played in recent years for musicians such as herself. And she didn't try to slip the question. So, good on her for that too. Fact is, there are a number of youngish female musicians like herself who became KZbin phenoms. Before Ayla, there was Meytal - who still puts out amazing drum covers, and more recently, videos and albums of her band. So - I'm just saying it's okay to admit that Ayla, and a few others such as Meytal, do owe their notoriety largely to social media. On the other hand, KZbin musicians who are not as good, will certainly not become as widely known and loved. Lee Kovalskyj (old guy & former musician) Toronto, Canada

Ayla is such an inspiration for me because I have really been wanting to play the guitar for a long time and now that I know that she started playing when she was 12 (which is how old I am) gives me some hope that I can hopefully be as good as her when I'm 18.

Wow, didn't realize she was only 17 at the time and had been only playing for 5 years. Ayla has videos from 2016, 3 years before this, 2-3 years of guitar skills and she was playing like someone with 10 or more years of high quality skills. You can tell she has a passion not for just playing guitar but for the music, it's meaning and a deeper dive into music expression and theory.

I really enjoyed this interview. I'm so glad to hear that Ayla is continuing her journey through the great music she plays. Trying to find meaning; trying to find an elevated place; trying to find something deep; and letting it pour out of you like the elixir of life is what makes music truly great. You'll find it in jazz. You'll find it in the blues. You'll find it in so many genres. Listen to everything, because everything is not enough. Make it yours and treasure it forever.

We love that you play the role of a real dame. Even your guitars are femenimish. Pls tell us of your molding years 8---18. What are your plans for the near future. Touring with Buffet or chesney? Did I tell you that Im learning more from your videos in fives minutes then others in two weeks. You are so sincere and a fantastic teacher. Thank you for taking the time. Ps. When you get more famous.....ask hallmark movies to let you in. Can you teach us 3 chords for that wonderful song called, " AMISH WHIP" thanks

I can’t believe she has only been playing since she was 12! I have been playing for a couple years longer, same age as her but gotten nowhere near as good, but I suppose I have only gotten really serious about practicing in the last two years. She is my inspiration.

I have to agree. Ayla is without any doubts one of the Best "New" Guitarist's I have ever seen or heard. Her playing ability and natural talent are so beyond her years. JAZZ Ayla? Mons Perseen? I hoped I spelled his name correct. Swedish Guitarist. Jazz is far and away the Best for physical/mental Health. You are a tremendous player. You have really set the strings on fire. I don't think I have seen another guitarist play with equal spirit. At least not in the last 50 - 60 years. Stunning. Exceptionally Cool young lady. Stay Real. Be yourself. Play on. Your a GREAT GUITARIST AYLA. I will listen to your teaching and playing likely for the rest of my life. And Enjoy it. THANKS

One woman really comes to mind Ayla, is Gunhild Carling. She was born into music, and I am sure you have seen or heard her wonderful and creative music. Gifted and talented women are really driving the music industry. Don't sell yourself short EVER. You are a super neat young lady and should easily qualify you as being the 2nd, 1st Lady of Guitar. Great Interview. To quote an old Legend, "One of these Days, you are going to go straight to the Moon, Alice (Ayla)"

This interviewer #EddyBarco makes too many references to himself, it's not about you, it's about the person you are interviewing. Also, when you ask a person a question - ask the question... then let them speak. 19:36 - 20:42 is a great example. He goes on a tangent with two questions sprinkled in... but he keeps on rambling even after he asks the questions. Don't keep talking and or interrupting the person when they start answering your question. It was distracting trying to get through the whole interview. Also don't "lead the witness" don't interject your personal opinions on the person you are interviewing. Don't be afraid of a few seconds of "silence" as the person thinks... you don't need to "help them answer the question." Some of the best answers come when you let the subject share their words, not yours. Someone please give this young man some training videos to watch.
