I saw an endless complaints about their software issues and their horrible tech support but I've been using Orion Studio for the past 5 years and never had any issues. It sounds great and their I/O options are pretty much unbeatable. I care less about the specs on the paper as long as it sounds good. I heard from my peers that their tech support is fantastic now. I checked out the MRC at Namm and this is a great unit. Nothing felt flimsy, all the buttons and the volume knob was SOLID. I was looking into Focusrite Rednet with R1 or DAD Center with MOM for Atmos Setup but I decided to stick with Antelope after I saw this.

Same here. I have been having the Orion Studio for a few years and only had 1 issue with a thunderbolt driver. I contacted support and they relied back with a fix within a few hours.

I have a Discrete 8 Synergy Core and fought with their crappy Windows drivers for two years including no support for Windows WDM. Bought a Focsurite Clarett+ 8 Pre and all issues were solved instantly. No more random device not recognized, latency, and general weirdness. Focusrite drivers also support Windows WDM including the Red Line series. And lastly, my LED panel text in the Discrete started to pixelate badly. No way I'll ever go back to Antelope. Now you know why Sweetwater no longer sells Antelope.

Correction. Galaxy 64 does not currently support Atmos. Only Galaxy 32 and optional for Orion 32 Gen 4

Like everything this company makes it won’t work fully and you won’t be able to get customer support.

and outdated within the year, because they insist in launching a new version and abandon the old unit...

If tech support is important to you stay away from this company.

This sounds like the old Antelope support. I used their tech support twice in the last year and each time they fixed the issues I was having, e.g. a firmware issue and a mixer/launcher software issue. Since then, I've had zero problems with either their hardware or their software. I've read a lot of discourse with Antelope Audio which stems from practices they appear to have had a few years ago, so, I can see why some people felt/feel burned on the company's past behaviour.

Sounds nothing like that bloke from The Shamen.

Stop buying from this company because of their policy. AAudio has totally failed to make me loyal to their products, and I was willing to.
