It's very very important to open Airport to kilambakkam metro soon because compare to other metro phase projects, should give first priority to this kilambakkam metro due to chennai main bus stand, more frequent people traveling, in festival time It's huge congestion in traffic.. Government should initiate this project immediately else it'll be heavy mess in chennai.. no proper planning from government side! Atleast now have to realize the reality and should start the project soon and reason is mentioned in video clearly

It's better to run cmbt bus stop, which already have all connectivity including metro rail... Also very easy to reach the bus stop

It will not help. It will again chock all the roads. We need to have alternate transport that doesn’t add more traffic to roads. Either all suburban trains should be extended till Chengalpattu or metro has to be built.

@@naanumrowdythaan already roads are extended from koyambedu to maduravoyal, after maduravoyal buses are going to play on bypass. Even now perungalathur to chengalpattu roads are extended bigger..!! So what is the issue in operating the bus from cmbt.. atleast they have to increase the bus frequency from madhavaram to all south distance or parallel operator the bus in all three bus stand. This will help all the public to catch the bus during the festival time.

@@naanumrowdythaan changing bus stand won't solve traffic jam without having proper boarding and dropping point what about central and egmore railway station running public using it for 150 years there is no railway traffic or road traffic ,cmbt bus stand not completed 25 years for public use wasting tax payers money nearby flyover, metro ,demolish cost etc your point of view 6000 buses causing traffic jam not 12 lakh cars chennai rto registered whiteboard vehicle will not cause traffic

Useless bus stand for capital city even metro comes also all will roam in place make it as an traffic jam it will not fit for longer routes luggage cannot be taken most will use car for travel 1km 1stop this will take 80-110 minutes to travel from centre of city chennai needs bus stand in it's city limits better to run both bus stand parallely without boarding and dropping point one can't achieve ease of traffic congestion
