nope, blind forest is better (in my opinion). Will of the Wisps threw away the save/soullink system and map stone system for autosaves and a copy of Cornifer. It's not a bad game, but Blind forest feels more unique whereas Will of the Wisps feels like they took too much inspiration from other games like Hollow Knight. I'm not saying that they stole ideas from Hollow Knight, but they took a little bit too much inspiration.

I, like many others, found you through Outer Wilds some time ago, and you've been my favorite youtuber since. Surprisingly, I don't think I've donated, so now's a perfect time. Ori and the Blind Forest, and its sequel, are the most beautiful pieces of media I've ever consumed, and easily in my top 5 games of all time. My jaw dropped when I saw your upload and I scrambled to get my headphones as fast as I could. You're gonna love these games, man, and I hope you decide to play them back to back! Cheers! Hiya! Since I already translated the Hebrew in SH2 I thought I would add some fun fact here - "Ori" means "My Light" in Hebrew, this was never confirmed by the devs I think, but since several of the devs are Hebrew speakers, and seeing the context inside the game, I dont think this is just a coincidence!

Delighted to see you playing this one. It's much more of a traditional platform game than HK but it all works tremendously. The fluidity of Ori is really second to none. One of my favourite games and the sequel if anything is slightly better.

Just, something is different, where in Ori the environment happens to you, and you weave through it to go with the flow. While in Hollow Knight you happen to the environment, and it's a push and pull.

The reverse is not true. I failed hard at HK. Tried multiple times but couldn't get used to the checkpoint system and fighting my way back to where it was. Lost so much soul that I felt doubly punished for being bad at the game.

They give you 5 to 10 minutes of a mostly silent life's story played through experiencing fragment, that are far more gripping and emotional than it has any right to be. And then just when the emotions run high, they just leave you there, feeling lost, and needing to process what just happened.

One thing about this game you should know that you will be doing backtracking sometimes when you learn new abilities, so if you feel like you missed a pickup and now you are able to get it because you have a new ability, you dont have to immediatelly go back, chances are the game will take you there anyways at some point

Sorry to suggest a game during the first episode of another, but your comment at 20:28 reminds me of the game Potion Craft Alchemist Simulator. It is a relaxing exploration game with no combat. It would be a fun thing to stream if you are looking for a game to just relax while talking with your audience.
