Modder here: 1- The spheres inside the planets are there due to the planets being a paid marketplace asset the developers used, with multiple spheres added for varying options (I made a Space map, that's how I know) 2- The cubes inside the characters are actually the "core" (BASE, as labeled in the game files) of the characters, which is basically what all the parts of the model are parented to. They needed a model for this, so they settled with a cube. 3- The walls under all maps are part of a stage destruction system. They most likely put them there on all maps for either placeholder or safety reasons. 4- The Kame House map is actually it's own individual level, as all levels in sparking zero are split into different maps like lightning, player start locations, destructive actors, normal actors, etc. So it could actually be made into it's own map easily by grabbing the level used in the Destroyed Cell Arena map!

I believe the texture swap cubes are indeed necessary with unreal engine as it seems to be in every unreal engine game, pretty weird as it pretty much adds extra polygons for no reason, (unlike with unity where one can just do a material swap). unless the cubes also act as the animator for all the logics.

Aw that's a pity. In the previous tenkaichi games (or was it budokai? probably both) the audience for the world martial arts tournament has a guest star of edward elric and monkey d luffy; which they changed when the technology got better to a bootleg version. It seems here they just didn't show up; which I get since these are very detailed animated people so it's probably to avoid any copyright lawsuit going forward. Still, I do miss the fake luffy sitting there...
