​@@jacobsmith3672yea, there was a lot of symbolism around his character and biblically accurate angels. Even when he first uses zillel and shunsui says he can't move, it's a reference to when humans view angels and are completely paralyzed by fear hence the "do not be afraid".

I think he knew what nanao's zanpakuto power are. I can't blame him tho', what else can he do against the super counter like that, run away after morphing like that? Then when he was using his ultimate attack like that, he might think that his power either able to pierce nanao's zanpakuto power or it is still being reflected and obliterate him, so it is gambling.

@@danstern102 Target with what? So far in this form, all he did were light attacks. His wings don't even attack like his first transformation. As long as there is light, there will be a shadow, Lille using light attacks only created shadows for them to hide into.

@@sparknazo Also, it's because Ywach recognized those wits and skills himself since he's the one who granted them their schrifts in the place likey based on their exisiting set of skills. Then he's just doing a performance review to choose who will he bring with him. And Askin just got top marks. He could've brought anyone like Bazz-B, but the problem is his attitude, especially his tendency to be insubordinate. Or could be Bambietta or Robert, but Bambietta has the same problem with Bazz-B and Robert even though he looks to be a loyalist just didn't make the cut skill wise, meaning relying too much on their schrifts, like As Nodt losing to Rukia due to overconfidence with his powers.
