Haha! I’m actually the guy flipping the V in the crowd. One of the band drafted a bunch of us from mutual friends in the punk/ska/skinhead scene and we used to go to their gigs. Had us join the crowd shots at some studio in Manhattan one weekend in like 1995ish. We got to wear our one “costumes” which was nice. Seriously, all of them were very down to earth fellas. Shame they never really blew up.

I loved this so much when it came out; the video is great fun. The singer is Donovan Leitch, son of 60s folk pop icon Donovan (Sunshine Superman, Mellow Yellow) and on guitar is Jason Nesmith, son of Michael Nesmith of The Monkees.

Oh yeah....I betcha Brit actor Noel Fielding ( of Mighty Boosh fame) LOVED LOVED LOVED these guys! The music I heard him do reminds me of this.

I love this SO much, I still have the 7". It should have been an enormous hit. Did they inspire Walt Disco? WD give me hope that there is still good music being made, but i wish we'd had a lot more from Nancy Boy. UNDERRATED!

Heard about these guys back in the 90s. Read an article about them in Our magazine. Thought it was interesting that a band was doing glam back in the 90 s.

Tons of bands were doing glam in the 90s. Superdrag, Spacehog, Suede, Placebo, Jellyfish, Kinky Machine, Pulp, Rialto, even Stone Temple Pilots dipped into it. It was all over the place

Never knew there was a video for this. I loved that Sire LP, but then nothing else. Put the band back together!

Gotta give props to these guys for doin this when glam wasn't considered cool in the 90 s. Gotta love the Brits for the cool weird shit they do with music, t.v. and such. The song IS pretty FUN. Love the name, too.

There were tons of glam-influenced bands in the 90s. These guys were just following the Britpop pack: Suede, Placebo, Pulp, etc.

Sounds like early Duran Duran apart from this dude can't sing in the style he's attempting to reach. Good to see Nigel again, I haven't seen him since he parted with the Quireboys, he's a great performer and musician.
