I WAS IN VIETNAM IN 1968 WHEN I SENT NANCY A REQUEST FOR A PICTURE. AMAZING TO ME, A PICTURE OF HER IN A WHITE BIKINI AND WHITE BOOTS WAS SENT BACK TO ME. IT WENT IN MY LOCKER AND IT BROUGHT ME HOME FROM A HORRIBLE WAR SAFE AND SOUND. SHE IS AN ANGEL TO ME! LOVE HER AND SHE CAN DO NO WRONG!

I was 12 years old when Frank Jr was kidnapped in 1963 Our school teacher would update us every morning about the kidnapping. The problem was that us kids didn't know who Frank Sinatra and Frank Jr was. Our imanginations of who he was ran wild . I thought he was the son of President Johnson some thought he was the nephew of our school Principal etc etc Its amusing to remember how confused we were and how our imaginations ran wild at the time

That was on Dec. 8, 1963, shortly after the horrible Nov. 22 event the nation was still in a state of shock. But I did remember reading and hearing about this kidnapping. He was only 19. Two days later, Frank Sr. paid $240,000 which equates to over $2.2 million in 2022. He died at 72 on Mar. 16, 2016 while on tour in Daytona Beach, FL

My great-aunts husband (who I never met as he passed away before my time) was chief of police up in Lake Tahoe and supposedly helped in rescuing Frank Jr. He wouldn't entertain any thank you gifts from Frank Sr. I guess he didn't like his reputation. So the story goes!
@sunnyskies-md5rk Жыл бұрын
Frank Sr. married Ava Gardner in 1951 when his three kids were 11, 7 and 3. I would give more credit to their mother for raising them than to Frank Sr. In fact, Frank Sr. always said the same thing.

I know I stand in line Until you think you have the time To spend an evening with me And if we go some place to dance I know that there's a chance You won't be leaving with me Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place And have a drink or two And then I go and spoil it all By saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" I can see it in your eyes That you despise the same old lies You heard the night before And though it's just a line to you For me it's true And never seemed so right before I practice every day To find some clever lines to say To make the meaning come through But then I think I'll wait Until the evening gets late And I'm alone with you The time is right, your perfume fills my head The stars get red, and, oh, the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all By saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" The time is right, your perfume fills my head The stars get red, and, oh, the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all By saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" "I love you" "I love you" "I love you" "I love you"
