Beautiful singer, profoundly lovely song - it can bring to mind for many the sudden, tragic and early loss of a loved one. Just as we lost Nancy herself far too soon. Thank you to people like David Kenney and Jonathan Schwartz for keeping her music and memory alive……….

She was as lovely off stage as she was on! To watch her sing was something really special!, not just her voice, but what Nancy gave each song. I knew her well for several years. I still miss her honesty in a song! Nancy was never into booze or drugs. Why are talented people often the ones taken from us???

My favorite singer ever. I was preparing for work the morning she sang "JITFC" on GMA. I was fixing my lunch when Charles Gibson announced her as one of his favorite singers. I continued preparing until I heard the first lyric. I had to put everything on hold to listen to her. At lunch I ran out to try and find a cd. It wasn't until months later when in NYC visiting a friend who asked "What do you want to do here?" I replied "Find a Nancy LaMott cd." And best wishes Christopher M!
