She is a politician. She made it sounds convincing because that's her job. She knows very well that 'providing exceptions for rape, incest and life of the mother' are not black and white elements and can and will be bent by other politicians over time to question when life of the mother is at stake for example. Medical situations are never as clear as, if we don't abort the fetus, the mother will 100% die and if we do, she will 100% survive and that element will be abused for political gain. "Case where mom's chances of surviving is going from 15% to 98% through abortion? Abortion is illegal since mom can die anyway even if fetus is aborted" ... we already have conservative soul less politicians who think rape cant lead to pregnancy because the reproductive system shuts down in rape .. Mace knows such people will influence the 'exception/provision' to claim that x case could not have been rape so abortion is still illegal.

Women have been denied proper healthcare because of them being pregnant. It's the reason Ireland made abortions legal. In 2012, Savita Halappanavar died because she was denied proper healthcare when seeking an abortion. Her story has happened throughout history, and has happened in the U.S. After the overturning of Roe, one pharmacy even denied a person the right to buy methotrexate to treat their rheumatoid arthritis, because they were still "viably fertile" and the medication has the potential to be used for chemical abortions. This isn't a hypothetical at all. So, perhaps read up a bit more on this.

And even Ruth Ginsberg said that! The states can pass laws with their individual restrictions (depending on what the people of that state wants). THAT'S HOW THIS COUNTRY WORKS. The Democrats had many opportunities to pass a law at the federal level, but they didn't. Why? Because they wanted it to remain an issue so they can keep people emotional, divided and angry. That's the only way they can get people to vote for them. If these idiot progressives didn't keep bragging and encouraging abortions, plus pushing late term abortions (even right out of the womb), the case probably wouldn't have even made it to the Supreme Court. What happened to "Safe, Legal, and RARE?" As it stands now, women have the right to abstain from sex, they can use birth control, they can have the man use birth control, they can use the morning-after pill (which stops fertilization), and most states will end up having at least abortions until the first heartbeat. Women don't, and shouldn't, have the right to terminate a pregnancy any time they want up until birth. If they don't take those precautions I previously stated, then they just waited too long. That's on them! Not anyone else.
