She's so analytical if you pay attention she has a specific definition for each word the interviewer is giving. This is what makes her so amazing in storytelling she has an absolute amazing way of creating art

I'm not a fan of her movies but I'm a fan of her. I love the way she is utterly NOT self-deprecating in the way that so many successful women feel they have to be...and with good reason. She just completely owns her space and her craft. I'd love her as a mentor.

this is great! I've been writing my first screenplay for the last 5 years. Being new to it I feel like I'm learning as I go. I'm quite confident I will be on this stage one day.

I think statistically that is highly unlikely. Many try, few succeed.

The only people who don't make it are the ones who quit. 99% quit. But you need to write faster cause producers won't take you seriously if you take 5 years or more to write 1 screenplay. Get that down to 6 months per screenplay and you're good.

I'm a huge admirer of Nancy's scripts and absolutely love many of the films she directed: to me she is one of the top comedy writer and an exceptional director to take a different look to otherwise stereotyped male star actors. I'm thinking on how she brilliantly directed De Niro, Nicholson, Gibson leading them out of their usual comedic turf to show a much deeper, complex and above all amusing characters. Not to speak of the beautiful and funny females' portraits! Kudos Nancy, and please keep them (your films!) coming! PS: that lady interviewer, she speaks too fast and too much...

It's so funny listening to this interviewer stammer and yammer on trying to put together questions and comments. Nancy isn't your usual Hollywood type so she doesn't talk endlessly and tell stories endless.

What does she mean that this is the last 35 years that we can make movies about people, I didn't really get it, begging for other understandings!

She said for the last 35 years you could make movies about people but it’s harder now? 😏 not sure why lol

She's saying so much money goes into superhero movies, whom she considers to be "not real people," and fewer companies are willing to fund more realistic character based movies

The lady interviewing Nancy Meyers did a terrible job. She was too hyper and nervous.

Something that’s really you? The Parent Trap? She didn’t write it, so how is it “really her”?
