The song is nice! It's definitely one of hits of the 60-s.

When Nancy was signed to Reprise Frank told her he expected it to make it on her own. She worked diligently on her earlier recordings. When "Boots" came along she was ready--a poised, classy, charming performer with a highly individual look. She enjoyed a long string of hits.

Frank Sinatra did a great job of raising his daughter Nancy. She had a monster hit in 1966 with "These Boots Are Made For Walking".

I think nancy Understood Italian enough to answer the presenter's question. Just like the presenter understood English enough to understand her.

@Nancysinatrafan Yes, the rest of the world discovered Nancy before we in the U.S. did. He early singles were excellent and it was just a matter of time before she hit big. I know everyone at Reprise fully expected it and that had nothing to do with her being Frank's daughter. She neither expected or wanted special treatment. She knew she didn't need it. When she finally got her hit she was ready to charge ahead and did she ever.
