It did go in a different direction for a while: their podcast. I think they realized that they get a lot fewer views when they do their podcast over SC2 content lol.

ok this game inspired me. my submission for novawar says: mass changeling. go build as many changelings as humanly possible, make them just block the base of your enemy. yes they have like 5 hp any single shot kills them. but you have to hand click every individual one of them, which is soooo micro intensive for the enemy player, you win just by making them consume their micro. put a mass of changelings at the ramp. put them on hold position. attack the expansions. game.

Spoilers?: You can tell this protoss player is a one trick pony. Very good at DT rushes but then doesn't really know how to capitalize on it if it doesn't outright win him the game. That stockpile of theirs was just painful, I can only guess they were too busy microing the DTs to do proper macro which is why he's topped out where he is. Even spamming gateways and zealots to complement the immortals/DTs would likely would have ended this game 3-5 minutes earlier. Zerg player, on the other hand, was just much more well-balanced.

I had just binged watched all seven seasons of Game of Thrones only a couple months before season eight on the same TV, no problem then. Yet I was forced to stare at a black rectangle. May have been a blessing, considering how terrible that season was.

The Battle of Winterfell was also the most embarrassing siege battle I've ever witnessed. They open with a cavalry charge, have their artillery outside the walls, and stick the civilians in the one place they know is full of corpses when fighting an enemy that reanimates the dead. Yet after all that, they still chose to give all the fan favs undeserved and blatant plot armor. Essays have been written about how bad that whole episode was from every possible angle. If I'd been working on the show I'd be raising my hand every five minutes during the table read and simply asking, "What the fuck are you thinking?"
