as I rewatch this reaction, you realize that what they are doing is MORE than just staring at the camera. Actor Michael Caine has a master class I think called Acting on Film where he talks about where to plant each eye in relation to the camera and making your gaze more powerful/intense by widening your eyes & actually not blinking in a scene. It creates an unsettling non-human sensation into the camera if you are not blinking for an extended period. Garbo used to do it on camera. I'm saying these girls learned their camera relation from Jisoo. She was doing it day one. Power stances and peering deeply into the eye of the camera unblinking while moving slightly away in either direction. It Makes the camera interested in your inner drama drawing you in. Jennie & Lisa only started performing in camera shoots like Jisoo after she showed up. You can see the change. That widened eyed non-blinking gaze is what you see in Anime or Manga on a drawn page. It's like an iconic brazened image that is moving & breathing (& in this case singing & dancing like you've never seen). It's anime come to life, right. That modeling camera craft & stage presence that they're using. Jennie has an icy stare of death that could cut you in half. Rose & Lisa are masters of this gaze into the soul of the camera. They're doing it every time. But none of them were doing it until Jisoo showed up. And Rose wasn't doing it until she mixed in with them. Now what they are doing should be studied by others. They're masters of this stage craft that makes them endlessly mesmerizing to watch. I'm saying Jisoo brought most of that camera modeling knowledge to the others. She is doing all of it from the get go. Not only is she doing it in fashion shoots. She's doing it during interviews, at award shows in groups of people, you notice that face peering into the camera. She locates the cameras, finds her eyelines and BAMM!! It's like THE face you are looking at in a whole crowd of others. There's Jisoo. She's GOT IT!
