i saw that a uy naed praatic fiured out a way to do displaceent as a shader, and while it looks insane on rass, sand, water, trees, as with wind and ore he said it would also work on clothin. since its a shader its effect on perforance is very sall

Genuine question: What did displacement do that you couldn't do with Word position offset here? I might have missed something, but they seem to both just move the vertices, no?

They both do move points, but the Displacement does in the Normal direction from the mesh. To do this with WPO will be really hard to calculate and expensive Material function. So in my opinion they should be used depending on the desired result or in combination like here.

It is working in 5.5, you need the console variables shown in the beginning in your project file to enable it.

You can use the same technique for clothing model on any skeletal mesh char.
