Maharajapuram clans are always popular for mohanam, from Viswnatha iyer, the genious SANTHNAM, Ramachandran, Srinivasan and now Ganesh viswanathan. But the classiic scholarship of SANTHANAM was though short lived,.but he created a storm in music circle by his wonderful journey. I am not famous as the singer. not even comparable. they are proved legends. but to say this as the greatest version is very sad!! there are a lot sahitya mistakes. when it clearly is a 'pa' in the swara, why do such famous carnatic musicians make it 'ba'. don't know where to stop and not sure what the meaning of the words they pronounce.

My premise is "if the Sahitya changes, the vibrations change and hence the music." In our tradition music is not just a bunch of soothing sounds.
