(SPOILER WARNING) The thing that gets to me about the ending is that Rachel still should've turned in the letters?? Like sure it's tragic but Ellie would've been fine. She wouldn't have gotten jail time or juvie, she just would've had some pretty severe counseling. If Rachel had sent off the letters, everyone would've had a perfectly fine life and she wouldn't have had to rot in jail.

Yeah I think that's why he said there were "loophole" (I think he meant "plot holes.") It wasn't a smooth conclusion, or result. There was no reason for her to not send the letters. Wasn't a fan of this story. Still a fan of Stephanie, though.

It feels really OOC for Rachel to cover up for her, considering that fact and also the fact that Rachel doesn't really like kids and she spent less than a week with Ellie.

The beginning of this story sounded a bit like Haunting of Bly Manor. I was so confused, wondering if I had seen it somewhere already. I'm glad I listened to Stephanie tell it instead of going to read it. I already figured out the plot twist about Bill since the beginning.

******WARNING: FEW SPOILERS AHEAD****** One thing that confuses me about the ending is the way the police were so quick to blame Rowan. Yes, she is the nanny and she is the one taking care of the kids. But did they not question Jack and Rhiannon about what happened and where they were at the time? If they had asked Rhiannon, she might've told them that Rowan was with her downstairs?? If the murder had happened before, then surely Jack would've told the police that she was with him in his apartment getting her finger treated?? Also how was Gene/Elli able to send a letter to Rowan in prison without the police knowing the contents? Don't police usually check things like this before sending stuff in and out of jail? I know I'm thinking too much into a fiction book but like Stephiance said this book's got way too many plot holes. The ending was just okay but I liked the plot twist where it was revealed that Rowan was Bill's daughter. Although, it did make his sexual advances towards her all the more gross and disgusting, even if he obviously didn't know she was his daughter.

Stephanie, you may like the 7 deaths of Evelyn Hugo. It's a locked door thriller with actual funs turns and features a time loop, different perspectives, and an overarching evil. Lends itself to a longer form video like this one.

Girls reaction to the driveway and house brings me back to my house cleaning days. Some of the places I cleaned while struggling to pay my rent! It's hard to not get that "Must be nice!" feeling. Even more so with some of the ridiculous light fixtures some people have. You know the beautiful chandelier-inspired ones with dangling crystals and look like a heart attack to dust? The people who have such fixtures are seldom the ones cleaning them. The most stunning homes were always the most annoying to clean, in my experience. I was always half-dazzled, half-irritated working in them 😅
