I use Apstasia X made by Red Sea. it is a solution you apply to the oral disk of the anemone and it will ingest the solution, once inside it fuses the mouth of the anemone shut which will lead to it's demise. its really simple to use and relatively cheap.

Berghia nudibranch’s seem promising to fight aptaisia but I have yet find to find any available anywhere in Europe... A lot of shrimp sold as peppermint shrimp aren’t actually the correct species and aren’t particularly reef safe. I’m having minuscule aptaisia that came in on a zoa frag. Too small to handle manually :(

Super glue the aptasia, or use aptasia-x. This way they would die and not open up to release spawn.

Nice simple tank. I used kalkwasser residue for the aiptasia & sea hare is 1000x more effective than snails :)

I've heard of people trying hydrogen peroxide with aptasia but not sure how affective it would be. The green hair algae if the clean up crew isn't getting rid of it as fast as you'd like, I used a product called reef flux in my 20 gallon long reef tank. I posted a video a few weeks ago after using it for the recommended period, as I don't have a skimmer or a sump for my system and had a hair algae outbreak that wouldn't disappear with manual removal and other methods.

Almost makes me wanna set my 55g hexagon back up to a reef tank. Something about a smaller square/hexagon shaped reef was cool back before i moved and upgraded it to a 135g 6ft tank. I know 55g doesnt sound small. But its foot print is being a hexagon. Its just really girthy circular wise 30 inchs around. But i probably wont. The tank is acrylic and has a permanant top on it with a smsll openeing.. made it SUPER hard to clean coraline algae off. I hated it

Seems strange, but my dad is using a small pump and directly pumping boiling water at the aiptasia. Probably wouldn't work in a nano because of the small water volume tho. Love your videos!

How do you get the new water the same temperature as the old? I just always find water changes to be dangerous. And messy. And a huge PITA.
