For those asking about the green liquid he's feeding, it's mentioned in a reply further down that it's amino acids. I would assume its something like Red Sea Reef Energy PLus )which has the same neon yellow/green look) I use it and it's great. This is a really nice build and I love how clean the glass is. Struggling to get the algae from the corners and sand line on mine

Correct, except I'm using Aquaforest Power Elixir. Doesn't need refrigeration nor do I have to shake before use. :D
