In recent videos I've mentioned that I want to redo the Pond Themed Riparium and get the Blue Dream Shrimp into a new setup. So in this one I decided to tackle both within the structure of Rachel O'Leary's Scaping From Scraps Challenge. For this challenge I need to make a setup exclusively with materials I already have at home.
Let me know what you think of the finished project! Do you like the new and improved look for this tank and the shrimp? Let me know in the comments! I personally think it's a HUGE improvement.

Axolotls are tricky! They like nice open space, and are fully aquatic. Plus those delicate feathery gills can get caught on jagged materials. I would also love to see Tanner’s take. 😀

I'm a college student having an extremely rough quarter, between trying to complete online classes in a non-optimal home environment during protests and a pandemic, and battling anxiety and depression. When I panic and can't focus on my studies, this is the channel I've been coming to to help me calm down. Your builds are beautiful man! I already work in the aquatics section at a pet store so I've been dying to get my hands busy making some sort of aquatic setup that captures the beauty of nature as you always have. Lovely work, thank you for sharing your passion with us!

Recuerda cuando te sientas que no eres amado... el mayor sacrificio se hizo por amor! EL SUICIDIO NUNCA ES LA RESPUESTA! TheAgentTexas it is, and tourist visas are expensive. I went to Wheaton College in Massachusetts and the King of Bhutan also went there back when he was younger. He kept a good relationship with our college. Some other international schools and private programs are starting to build relationships with Bhutanese colleges though so there are a few more options than there were before. Student visa is the best way you to go if you can swing it!

I’d enjoy seeing what you could do with trying to make a planted habitat for something like hermit crabs. All of your setups are absolutely beautiful and I take a lot of inspiration from your channel. I had fun decorating my betta tank when I still had her and I recently got a trio of hermit crabs and I’m thinking about trying to plant their tank with things like pothos and some air plants.

Awesome paludarium! I love how there is so much dark empty space under the wood.

Another stunner! Really good use of existing materials, and it shows that a skilled and creative artist like Tanner can create something lovely and new with old, discarded materials.

I looked at the thumbnail, and thought I really really didn’t like it. Watched the video, and this is by far one of my favourite. The detailing and the roots, along with the amount of bright green plants in the aquatic portion just blew me away. Keep it up tanner 💯

You can't buy talent. You could give me an unlimited budget and I couldn't make a scape look that good. You do it with scraps. Not fair. Excellent video as always, my friend. Thanks for sharing!

You've inspired me. I have a lot of glass from discarded picture frames and a pump from an old tabletop fountain. I'm thinking maybe I might try to make my own nano paludarium. I would be using flora and fauna from the lake behind my house. I collected some Ludwigia microcarpa yesterday and stuck it in a vase in the window. I discovered new roots and pearling with the morning sun.
