I love the rescape. It's interesting how putting a big, bold piece of wood in a relatively small tank actually works really well. 😊 By some miracle I have managed not to fiddle about too much with mine for 3 years, but I'm thinking I might want to change a few things now. 😊

Yeah I love big pieces of hardscape in nano tanks haha! I am also not one for mucking around with my tanks but yeah sometimes you’ve just got to go for it!

This is awesome, I really want to make something like this for my first ever tank! How much do you think all of the materials will cost? Also what heater would you recommend and is there a lot of water maintenance involved?

The materials are not too expensive. The wood and the rock can be bought cheap online or at your local fish shop. If it’s a small tank it won’t need too much in the way of wood and rocks. I would say the wood and rock together and all the plants would be around £50/£60 but you could get them cheaper. In terms of maintenance just one weekly water change of about 20% 👍 I’ve got a video of me cleaning my filter and doing a water change if that’s of any interest kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2TUeIZ9Yrqkers

May I ask? What is the brand and spec of the tank?

I am not sure unfortunately, it was a tank they bought second hand.
