Yes and, those welding points coming apart seems to indicate a "frugal" assembly process. Chances were, it was overloaded with cargo for months of riding, and metal fatigue was making it likely to come apart any time. Failing on the bike path was the best-case scenario. But I'll grant the assembly is probably fine if you're not adding the extra weight and touring around with it.

32:45 You can stop the chain from jamming, by adjusting the two silver Phillips limit screws labelled H L (high/low) on the derailleur. In this case I think the H screw would be turned inwards. High gear being the smallest sprocket. I'd tweak the other one whilst in first gear too, just in case. If you ever have problems with the chain shifting cogs, get the Shimano Tourney manual (model stamped on rear?). It explains how you tweak it's cable barrel adjuster whilst in gears 1-2 until it stops rattling etc.

Calamity reigns for you in Germany.....wow......what chaos! You are within a short distance of our home when you get to Hahn airport area, so if you need help or a camping site in our yard, let me know. Once you retrieve your bike parts you will want to bike downhill to the Mosel from Hahn for better bike trails along the flat river all the way to Trier. Normal roads are not made for bikes and are frankly, dangerous. BTW, the reason most shops don't take credit cards is that retailers are charged 5% of the sale for each transaction. Most stores will be closed Sundays except tourist areas (along rivers) and gas stations.

Seems to me like you just have to upgrade the laptop and get used to the camera. It's honestly a lot more convenient from what I can see. I would get a newer Macbook and post in 4K cuz it's always better imo

You don;t upload your videos in 4k 60fps anyway, so is there really a point in having the camera record that? If you just lose any extra quality you gain by downscaling from 4k to 1080p by lowering the bitrate, you just may as well save the file size, if the camera allows you to change those settings that is.
