Christian & Frederik from Nanook were asked if they wanted to participate in the film called Sound of a Revolution - an award winning documentary about Sume filmed and produced by Inuk Silis Høegh and Emile Hertling Péronard. The brothers from Nanook didn't hesitate since this song is the first song they ever learned on the guitar when they both were very young. Inuit Nunaat is one of the most wellknown songs in Greenland music history and they made a cover of it here for the film. Christian & frederik performs the song acoustic in Christian's living room (2014).
The song is written by Per Berthelsen & Malik Høegh - the founders of Sume.

Qujanaq! This is a great cover and comes from a great film! I just spent a month kayaking near Uummannaq and found "Sound of a revolution" on the plane to greenland. Watching it as I flew towards Greenland was an emotional introduction to the culture and this song (and all of your own songs I've heard) brings me right back to the beauty of the place and the friendly welcome we were given by everyone we met there. One again a heartfelt Qujanaq to you for your wonderful music!

Simple yet elegant performance and songwriting. Nice cover, and great respect to the original songwriters. I don’t know what the words mean, and they’re probably pretty radical if the album cover for _Sumut_ is anything to go by, but it’s a good song, and I’m glad it helped you guys learn guitar.
