Era difícil ganarse la vida en esa época, hoy vamos al supermercado y lo mas peligroso es manejar el carrito

I remember watching this in school. We all cheered when Nanook and friends nabbed the walrus. Today, kids would be calling them animal murderers.

Because today kids are a bunch of emotional babies. Who bring that naive feelings into adulthood and then wonder why they can't get a job or have trouble coping with how shit humans are to each other.

my best friend is inuit from Aklavic who I've known for forty plus years and i know it's a tough life there . a person has to harvest what's available while it's there to survive. hats off to them

@mattlylesispale Thanks to the Bridget Bardot brigade shutting down the fur industry, neither do social security dependent Inuit's, but I always do have a good stock of wild free range venison, pork and duck yummy 😋

What “toxic masculinity” really is… working hard to feed the family
@spockspock2 жыл бұрын
Hasn’t that been largely lost? It’s so incredibly easy to exist now, group struggles to overcome now replaced with road rage acted out over mere inconvenience. Individual over the whole…. Folly.
@pamtnman15152 жыл бұрын
@@spockspock western civilization is a victim of its own success. Overabundant material and food make the smallest creature comforts easily accessible to almost anyone. What were luxuries a generation ago are now considered standard necessities. Substituting entertainment and novelty and celebrity for personal achievement has really dumbed down a great portion of our people. Taken together, the work ethic that was necessary to merely survive fifty years ago is now passe, so people think. The effort to feminize men and weaken our culture was imported from abroad by our enemies, and it is working. I am a hunter-gatherer and I really enjoyed this refreshing old movie about Inuit getting a month’s amount of food in one masculine effort.

fun fact they didn't hunt walruses for food. The scene was shot after enoughit was one of the many caricatures of inuit people which the director robert flaherty wanted to use as material in order to deliver what he thought audiences might like. In reality it's very not worth trying to kill a walrus without a fucking because they are *super* dangerous and two of his close friends died making that scene.
