Fun Fact: They once got kicked out of an IKEA store after hiding a bunch of their merch all around the store and inviting fans to come look for it. Apparently the IKEA managers were less than impressed since the band never cleared it with them beforehand. Another fun fact about these guys: They are all RIDICULOUSLY intelligent human beings. Their day jobs are things like astrophysicists etc - the band is just a side gig. Super fun band, very catchy tunes, and awesome lyrics. Crazy Italians...

Nanowar of Steel is a comedy Italian heavy metal band from Rome. Their name is a pun on the metal bands Manowar and Rhapsody of Fire, and represents their tendency to satirize "true metal", the primary focus of their music. Their work mainly aims to make humorous references to and jokes about the genre, often parodying the way in which power metal bands are perceived to take themselves very seriously. Amon Amarth and Hammerfall are metal bands, by the way. I really recommend Norwegian Reggaeton, Uranus, Vegan Velociraptor and Heavy Metal Kibbles.))) Dude, it's a true heavy Try Not Laugh Challenge! 🤣🤣🤣

for non italian speaking , Falegn-Amen = Falegname is the italian word for carpenter, and for the hebrew part originally is "Adonai elohenu Adonai ehad" more or less God is one , God is great , and they changed with Odinai so Odin is one Odin is great.

I'm Swedish (and from the land of IKEA) and I remember the first time I saw this video and heard the song. I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair. I think this song is the best IKEA commercial that will ever be made. No matter how hard they try, they can never top this one. :P They even managed to squeeze Systembolaget in there. If you didn't understand what that is, that's completely fine, it's a very Swedish thing. (You can also find versions of it in Norway and Finland.) If you want to know what it is, here's a quick (not really is a wall of text) rundown of why it exists. :P It's a government-owned chain of liquor stores which is the only place to buy alcohol above 3.5%. Yes, you heard it correctly. You cannot buy alcohol above 3.5% anywhere else in Sweden. :P Basically, as all proud Scandinavians, we Swedes have a history of making and drinking loads of alcohol. A fact both kings and governments didn't really approve of. But after trying to regulate and ration it (during WWI) nothing seemed to work so they had to try a different tactic. So, in 1955 they came up with Systembolaget, a heavily regulated chain of stores where you could buy all the alcohol you wanted as long as you were sober and over the age of 21 and the store clerks didn't think you were buying to sell to others. That didn't work, instead it made people drink even more so the government raised taxes on alchol, (to make it more expensive to buy) and made it mandatory to show an ID to buy alcohol from Systembolaget. They also tried to sell beer up to 4.5% in general stores but that led to a heavy increase in alcohol consumption so they scrapped that. Later they changed the age limit to 20 which remains to this day. So in Sweden you can buy a beer above 3.5% at a bar when you're 18, but you can't buy it to drink at home until you're 20 years old. Makes sense? Not really but we deal with it. :P Today, it's become a rite of passage of sorts to go to Systemet (the shortened slang version of Systembolaget) and buy something on your 20th birthday. I went to the closest store on my lunch break at work when I turned 20 and the person at the check out counter wished me a happy birthday after checking my ID. :D I have no idea if you even wondered what Systembolaget was or not, but here's the explanation and history of it anyway! I loved your reaction to this video, keep up the good work!

The nature of a joke or comedy is the "two stories idea" you make assumptions from the story and then in the punch line you realise your assumption was false. Here is a British comedian explaining it at a comedy show kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIeYfGasZdpkgJo (He has written a book about humour and jokes which is interesting and informative) Nanowar of Steel do this a lot: start with the "churchy" sound and you have made an assumption about the song (you might be rocking to it or turned off by it - but you have got used to it) then on Odin the music transforms to a metal style. It then moves back to the churchy sound / words with the new twist. THEN the second twist that Odin is the Master of IKEA and we add in a "catalogue song" in gospel style. etc. They are brilliant at this.
