IFFK യിൽ വഴക്ക് സിനിമയുടെ ദിവസം ഞയറാഴ്ച നടന്ന "വഴക്ക് " ഫലം കണ്ടു ! റിസർവേഷൻ ഇല്ലാത്തവരേയും നൺപകൽ കാണാൻ അനുവദിച്ചിരുന്നു.തിയറ്റർ നിറഞ്ഞ് നിലത്ത് പോലും ഇരിക്കുന്ന കാണികൾ! എല്ലാവരും വളരെ ആവേശത്തിൽ ആയിരുന്നു. മമ്മൂട്ടി കമ്പനി എന്ന പേര് സ്ക്രീനിൽ തെളിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ തന്നെ കാണികൾ നിറഞ്ഞ കയ്യടികളോടെ സ്വീകരിച്ചു, പിന്നീട് ലാജോ ജോസ് പെല്ലിശ്ശേരി എന്ന പേര് വന്നപ്പോഴും മമ്മൂട്ടിയെ ആദ്യമായി സക്രീനിൽ കണ്ടപ്പോഴും!പടം തുടങ്ങി ഓരോ രംഗങ്ങളും സ്വാഭാവികമായ ചില തമാശകളും ഒക്കെ പ്രേക്ഷകർ നിറഞ്ഞ മനസ്സോടെ തന്നെ ആസ്വദിച്ചു. എത്ര അനായാസമാണ് മദ്യപിക്കാത്ത മറ്റ് ദുഃശ്ശീലങ്ങളും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു ചങ്ങനാശ്ശേരിക്കാരൻ അച്ചായനായും, തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ ഒരു കുഗ്രാമത്തിലെ ഗ്രാമവാസിയായ സാധാരണക്കാരൻ തമിഴനിലേക്കും ഉള്ള പരകായ പ്രവേശനങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും എത്ര സൂക്ഷ്മവും കൃത്യവും അദ്ഭുതാവഹവുമാണ്! മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ മുൻകാലത്തെ ഒരു ചിത്രത്തിന്റെയും ഒരു സ്പെസിമെനും നൺ പകലിലില്ല. അവിടെ മമ്മൂട്ടി തന്നെയില്ല! ആരും പഴയ മമ്മൂട്ടിയെ ഇനി കാണാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നുമില്ല കാരണം അനുനിമിഷം പുതുമകൾ കൊണ്ട് ഈ മനുഷ്യ ഷൻ പ്രേക്ഷകരെ വിസ്മയിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു മാന്ത്രികനാണ്! കടലും ആനയും പോലെ മനുഷ്യർ എന്നും കാണാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നൊരു വിസ്മയം ! ഇനി LJP യുടെ കാര്യം, പുതുമകൾ തേടാനും പ്രേക്ഷകരെ കാഴ്ചകളുടെ മായാലോകത്തേക്ക് ആനയിച്ച് അദ്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തുവാനും ഉള്ള അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കഴിവ് അങ്കമാലി, ഈ. മ. യവ് , ആമേൻ, ജല്ലിക്കെട്ട്, ചുരുളി, ഇവയിലൂടെ ഒക്കെയും പ്രേക്ഷകർ അനുഭവിച്ച് അറിഞ്ഞതാണ്. അവയിൽ നിന്നെല്ലാം വ്യത്യസ്ഥമായ മറ്റൊരു ചലച്ചിത്രാനുഭവം തന്നെയാണ് നൺ പകൽ. ഈ സിനിമ മികച്ച ആസ്വാദനത്തോടെ സ്വീകരിച്ച IFFK യിലെ പ്രബുദ്ധരായ സിനിമാ പ്രേമികളും അഭിനന്ദനം അർഹിക്കുന്നു. ഇത് ഒരു പ്രതീക്ഷയാണ് ഇതു പോലെയുള്ള മികച്ച സിനിമകൾ ഇനിയും വന്നേക്കാം!

Another brilliance of this movie there is no BGM, old tamil bgm, songs & dialogues are used as BGM creatively. NNM is the combination of the greatest director and actor at present in India. Sir, great review and mind blowing words about our Megastar, LJP and Theni Eswar! Most of the Malayalam people will understand Tamil language without subtitles. A small correction about what you mentioned about Angamaly diaries.. It's not the only film of that kind. Kammattippadam is one such film, though a completely different storyline.. it was a commercial success and Actor Vinayakan got national award for it. Malayalam film industry is blessed with many screenplay writers with innovative thoughts. Can refer movies like kumbalangi nights, Thakara, thakarachenda, best actor, kanmadam etc for raw charactors For unconventional malayalam films, you can refer many malayalam hits like Joji, Roscharch, Puzhu, nayattu, guru, ishq(climax) vidheyan, vaanaprastham, thoovanathumbikal, njan gandharvan, irakal and many more..And Coming up: Aadujeevitham.
