As a kid Nanticoke had a movie theater, bowling alley clothing stores, hardware sporting goods, numerous eateries, and so on. The mom and pops stores thrived. Big box stores came on scene and pushed everything out. The small businesses couldn't compete. Thanks for the video. As others said, I know it like the back of my hand.

Lived in Nanticoke for 21 years. It has changed a lot.

A lot of memories 70’s to 2006. Most of my family grew up in Nanticoke and Plymouth. Tough to see all the businesses when I was young are gone now. Health care and government buildings keeping town alive. Hope town gets break one day.

grew up in Nanticoke in the 70's it was a great place to live I miss Diamonds candy and Woolworths and Carolls fast food East side park west side park and the parades that would go down Hanover st

Same. Been living close to or in nanticoke for almost 30years. Was born in Nesbitt and lived in lee park for my first year alive!

I live in naniticoke it's mad boring and also DONT EAT FROM THE BURGER KING, gna (the school) sucks and also DONT GO TO WEST SIDE they act like it's the hood (it's not) but still

@@Tzfocus Yes, I love their pizza you can smell it down the block. I also liked the small glass bottled soda they used to sell. I used to go to Newtown Pizza but I think its under new ownership the last time I went there it was terrible.
