Honoka Miki Yahagi is still in her early 20's now so she's still young to get married besides she's the same age as me (23) 😄 but I can't imagine her age when she was 17(teenager), they filmed all those intimate scenes with Yuki Furukawa (27) which is 10 years (a decade) older than her but they're good friends and she's treated like a younger sister in real life. yes! itazura na kiss was originally a manga that became super popular after its release in the 90's, the anime release came out in like 2013. there have also been multiple live actions remakes, i think three or four in japan, a korean version, a couple taiwanese versions and a thai version (and there may be some more I dont know about!), this story just appeals to a lot of people and has remained super popular in every version of it that gets made!

@@bookdork1 yeah its first live action adaptation was from 1996 with the same title itazura na kiss. With ony 9 episodes released because the story wasn't totally complete as the author died before even finishing the story. Then Taiwan made their version of it on the year 2004 with it started with a kiss and it's sequel on 2005 they kiss again. That made the story even more popular because of the realistic approach of Ariel ling and Joseph Cheng. And then 5 years after Korea made it's own version of itazura na kiss entitled playful kiss aired on the year 2010. And it's mini sequel playful kiss 2 on KZbin with only 7 episodes. After the success of the Korean adaptations of the series. Thailand made it's own version of it entitled Miss in kiss aired last 2011 and then Another Japan remake entitled mischievous kiss love in Tokyo and it's sequel Mischievous kiss love in Okinawa aired on the year 2013-2014 and then china made a movie out of it just last 2019. Fun fact : itazura na kiss was a record of kaoru tada's Love story in real life. She wrote the series story with her husband's guide. So it was kind of written in her point of view. Unfortunately she died even before the series ended. So the story is incomplete up to this day
