Cementone waterproof cement sealer should help keep the dust down and maybe provide better consistent traction and by far the cheapest option to try first or failing that external brickwork sealer also comes in a matt finish to prevent sun glare

As others have said you can epoxy with sand in it for a non-slip surface. Or you can resurface the pad for more grip. It is kind of like a grinder. You may be able to rent one to save money

You need to contact some kind of concrete company and see if they can grind it sanded or polish it for you to make it smoother and maybe put a coating on it to help with the smoothness

I reckon you can put a clear epoxy coating on the pad and if you're after some grip they should be able to add as much "non slip" 😊 to it as you wish..

​@@K5_RC Touring car with another body. 2wd slashes locally, they set em up in odd (to me) ways. 4wd tc (& Nascar bodies), they set up like a regular tc, but mess with shock oils, springs, etc. Nascar would be so much better removing the restrictor plates. Let em eat!

But for small scale rc, these are designed to bring NASCAR fans in to the hobby for cheap, and easy have something easy to drive. 2wd, big and expensive wouldn't bring in much attention outside of the hobby. But either way I'd still love to see a 1/7 like a Felony with 2wd and a NASCAR body. That would be epic

Just get your pad resurfaced like a good tennis court. I've seen some courts with almost as much traction as skateboard grip tape. That with foam tires will make cars handle like slot cars.

Wheel to wheel racing body pins are better. Racing clipless cars on a track the body usually comes unclipped

WE raced Associated Electrics (rc10L) on a hi banked concrete oval in the mid to late 80's. Nascar bodies. I had a bass pro shops. & ALL were 2wd, t-plate, all cf, pan cars. REAL [10th scale] Nascar racing. (& I'll leave that alone🤷‍♂️. Not a fan). Different strokes 4 Different folks 🤷‍♂️.
