They should re-engine it to keep it on the roster. Perhaps a newer MLW420 spec PM, a GE FDL or a modern turbo charged CAT engine and keep the Alco shell. Amtrak has re-engined old EMD switchers with a front cab put on it and the CAT PM. This train won't be the same without the ALCo pulling it!
