Nope completely agree, for me just hasn't felt the same since Jeffrey left. When I think of Mushroomhead, I think of Jeffrey, Jmann, and Waylon. Just doesn't make me think Mushroomhead without those guys. Even though Waylon wasn't around that long like the other two, it still felt like Mushroomhead with him being the contrast from Jeffrey and I loved the cleans he brought to the table. But at least I can get my Waylon fix with AKC, I love what he's doing there. I do really like some of their new stuff, and am happy to see Jackie back with them on this iteration because I really dig her vocals when she's featured, they should use her more IMO. Steve is solid on vocals as well. Definitely liking what they are doing and I hope they keep rocking it, making new stuff, and I want to see them continue to be successful. But like you said just doesn't match up in my head when I think of Mushroomhead. Not a knock on them, I still dig it, it just doesn't feel the same.

Then one day Skinny and Jackie decided their eels needed more water so Skinny and her took all the water from the water drums and gave it to the eels. Now the drums don't splash and we are just stuck watching eels swim randomly in a glass bowl. Definitely lackluster in energy on the drums in the video and doesn't seem to have the same energy or haunting vibe. Art is art sure, and musicians and bands evolve. This is like going from seeing a beautifully haunting tapestry to looking at a bathroom towel on a retail sales shelf. I still have a place in my heart for the old school Mushroomhead of the XIII and older stuff. But this new combo of Scott and Steve on Vox with Jackie adding her touch is just so good. So glad to see Scott getting that big push he has been working for since doing Ventana stuff. Blending that style with Aydin's drumming and having Gravy back to add that extra layer on guitars is just lifting them to a new level.

I think that wqs definitely the influence for the mask. The masks are the best thing about them now. Its just a revolving door of studo musicians. The heart and soul is gone.

I was that guy years ago all bummed out when certain members left etc but one day I realized its all about the music, mask, and evolution... Been a fan for 25 years and im glad I get to see these guys still jamming and putting out new material!!!!!!!

Just wish it was as unique as their early albums, it’s wild to me how even the talented bands have been slowing in their creativity, shows that there rlly is a reason music has changed less in 20 years than it would in 10 years in the 20th century

Left were the ones who made it what it was because the music is cookie cutter now and as much as I hate to say it they just sound like a slipknot knock off now days... I used to like both bands but now they're both cookie cutter mainstream radio metal

Part of being a Mushroomhead fan is accepting that you can't get attached to any member so long as Skinny is in charge of the band because chances are in an album or 2 they'll be gone and someone new will be added

I don't know yet if I like or not... I really prefer the album before. This one seems to miss some of the catchy melodies that I love. Its a question of taste for sure. anyway keep rocking!!!
