The harsh vocals are done by using your false vocal cords. If you can use them the vocals are easy to do. Think about it as wriggling your ears. Not that many people can do it, but the ones that can do it with no effort. It's the same thing with the false vocal cords

Tatiana from jinjer sounds nice but I have to agree that her voice falls into the spectrum of normal when it comes to what you'd expect to hear. Holy...trying to keep it clean but DAMN! Melissa is not just beautiful but TALENTED! The range and musicality on this woman I'd compare to is Simone Simon's and Amy Lee. However, the unique features of her voice allows her to stand out and be recognized on her own merits! Exquisite but sly with every note hit! Beautiful job and great balance and technique on the band as well! This is why I rarely find pop music appeasing or genuine; you need talent. Not just looks or mommy/daddy money to push you along. There's always the exception but for the most part, metal, especially women front singers and their group, actually bring natural talent and other contributions to the band and to their audience. The added appeal, elegant clothing and costumes, techniques in music and instruments only add to the quality that is the music. A little rant but it's hard to find quality music nowadays and bands like Ad Infinitum only add to the notion that real music is still here and hopefully, more is coming to over shadow the over-priced, overtoned, barbie/ken brats that decided on one karaoke night that this was their calling!
