I've listened many times and I think this is the best track the band has done thus far. All members of the band seem to have stepped up their game for this release and it shows through in this single. Lena's performance is unrivalled in this track. Some highlights are the opening of the song, when she repeats the same line but alters the rhythm slightly to give it a different feel. In the middle portion when she is screaming "Lost" her vocals are as powerful and violent as the best of Trendkill-era Phil Anselmo, and at the end, the dynamic shift between the softer part and the louder part when it goes back to the chorus, further emphasized by Lena flipping the bird to the camera.

I'm very excited for Ecdysis. That chorus section is my favorite vocal melody from you so far! It's moments like that which impress me and make you really stand out as a band.
