International modern metal band INFECTED RAIN is thrilled to announce that they have entered the studio to begin recording their upcoming fifth full-length album! Frontwoman Lena Scissorhands has issued an official update from the studio, hinting at what’s coming next with their music and conceptual themes.

then you actually didn't listen to a lot of bands with screaming female vocalists. lena might has a good vocal control but her voice sounds just awful to me, it makes me feel absolutely nothing...only the wish to push the 'stop' button. i'm not bashing her, tastes just differ and i don't like her voice at all. same goes for britanny slayes of unleash the archers - good vocalist with an awful sounding voice to my ears. all my bashing goes straight to the arch enemy w(b)itch - she's just terrible and embarrassing in every aspect.!! no doubt, the absolutely top of the game is courtney laplante of spiritbox.!! she eats them all for breakfast.!! tati's (jinjer) growls are def not as good as every one is saying. i'm a big jinjer fan since 2014, tati is a really humble and likeable person but i'm getting bored of her one-style roaring. her lows sound like a big drunk roaring dude in a pub complaining about his glas being empty again or like a big bear bumping into you in the woods - nothing special, just roaring growls. it's low but it's also the same over and over again, there's absolutely no variety in her growling. clearly audible that she didn't had any professional vocal lessons. but her cleans are really touching... a few recommendations: eva spence (rolo tomassi) !!! caro tanghe (oathbreaker) !!! justin jones (employed to serve) !!! kat katz (ex-salome, ex-agoraphobic nosebleed, ex-pig destroyer) !!! serena cherry (svalbard) mel mongeon (fuck the facts) kristin hayter (lingua ignota) eva rose (chrch) lauren babic (red hand denial, crazyeighteight) mallika sundaramurthy (abnormality) larissa stupur (venom prison, ex-wolf down) ...you're welcome.!:)

I’m really inspired by your vocal techniques, your extensive discussions about this on BANANAS and your awesome contribution as the front woman of Infected Rain. I never tire of Infected Rain. You are such an awesome band. I have been extremely excited about the soberly psychedelic experience I’ve had when listening to Infected Rain. As a sober single father of a son with special needs, adding music to my repertoire of careers will be beneficial for our adaptation. To me, Infected Rain is right up there with bands like Metallica, Lacuna Coil and Immortal.

Как же я рад, что выбил на работе отгул и смог задержаться в Таллинне, в декабре 2019, на воскресном концерте Infected Rain + Lacuna Coil + Eluveitie! Все три команды просто потрясающие, но это был первый раз, когда удалось попасть на Infected Rain. Было круто, в какой-то момент Лена даже взобралась на заграждение, отделявшее зрителей от сцены, и кто-то из команды ее придерживал. Жаль, что это было чуть в стороне от меня. Даже думать не мог, что позже случится такая хрень, что границы закроют и о живых выступлениях придется надолго забыть. Но очень надеюсь, что в ближайшие год-два всё вернется на круги своя. )
