I found these guys a few years back while I was going through a really tough time. I was in Afghanistan, my best friend had just been killed. I was ready to bow my head in defeat. Being a heathen lost in a world where very few understand our even know about you can take its toll. When I found these guys, it was like life had just been pumped into an empty shell and I regained my will to continue the fight. I'm Christian, but I'm listening to this because I have a healthy respect/interest for other cultures. Besides, this is METAL. Since when has metal been religiously appealing, except for Red? These guys are great live, I got to see them in 09 with Alestorm and even though it was a smaller venue they made it seem huge and really brought a great energy with their performance. I really hope they do another big tour sometime soon, I'll bring the mead!
